About HackingTools.ai
HackingTools.ai is a directory of cybersecurity tools, platforms, and training resources. Each listing explains what a resource does, who it helps, and where to access it. Listings are evergreen: there are no launch days and no vote resets.
How listings are written
Every listing is an editorial summary written from the resource's official site, documentation, and other reliable public sources. We do not test products hands-on, and a listing is not a security audit or an endorsement.
Pricing is shown as Free, Freemium, or Paid rather than exact prices, which change often. Open-source status is shown only when we have verified it.
What we include
We list lawful tools, platforms, and training intended for authorised security work, research, defence, or education. Offensive security tools are listed for authorised testing and education only.
We do not list malware-as-a-service, stalkerware or tools for covert surveillance of individuals, markets for stolen data or credentials, or services that sell unauthorised access. Inclusion is an editorial decision.
How ranking works
Top voted, the default order, ranks listings by net score: upvotes minus downvotes from members with a verified email address. Scores can be negative. The score reflects community opinion, not a security verdict. When scores tie, the more recently added listing comes first.
Newest orders listings by the date they were first published. Editing a listing never resets that date.
Star ratings and comments are shown separately and never change the net score. There is no combined score. Vote totals are counted automatically and are never set by hand; votes from suspended accounts do not count.
Sponsorship
Vendors and training providers can pay for one of up to three places in the Sponsored section on the homepage. Sponsored placements are always labelled "Sponsored".
Payment never buys organic rank, votes, ratings, reviews, or moderation decisions. A sponsored listing also appears in the regular directory at its normal position.
