Who it's for Teams that want an XDR and SIEM platform they operate themselves, rather than only a hosted analytics product. Worth knowing Wazuh Cloud is a paid hosted service, separate from the free software. The software license is GPL-2.0, with an extra permission for linking OpenSSL. Is Wazuh Cloud required? No. The software is free to run in your own environment. The hosted cloud is the paid option. Is GPL-2.0 an OSI license? Yes. GPL-2.0 is an OSI license. The OpenSSL linking exception is an extra permission on top of that. The agent runs on Linux, Windows, and macOS.
