What it is

A Go program built for speed and simple output rather than deep service analysis. It sends SYN, CONNECT, or UDP probes across host lists and prints each host and port pair it finds open.

What it helps with

- Sweeping large host or IP lists for open ports
- Skipping full scans of CDN and WAF addresses
- Listing known open ports passively from Shodan InternetDB
- Passing results on to deeper scanners

Who it's for

Pentesters, red teams, and recon practitioners scanning networks they own or are authorized to assess.

Worth knowing

SYN scans need root privileges and the libpcap library, and it falls back to CONNECT scans without them. It can also write Nmap-compatible XML and greppable output.

How is it different from Nmap?
Nmap offers detailed service, OS, and script-based checks, while Naabu focuses on fast port discovery and can hand its findings to Nmap.

What should I run after it?
In our view httpx is a natural next step to see which open ports serve web content.
